Default Stuttering on Intel HD 4000

Hey guys, anybody running this game on the newest Intel integrated stuff?

The game is perfectly smooth for the first 15-20 seconds, and then the game starts stuttering - it's the stuttering thing (I think) everyone is describing in the other thread, but the registry fix isn't working. This is with all the graphics options turned off, DX9, minimums ..

I used fraps to get frame latencies and graph them - it looks like this. The big drastic spikes ... yeah. Frames stop coming through for a hiccup, and then it's smooth ... it's periodic. Around a couple seconds. Seems like it -can- run the game, based on the fact that it's solid for the first 20 seconds, but something is wrong.

It's a mid-2012 13" macbook pro, bootcamped into Windows 7 ultimate. I'm not expecting a constant 60+ fps but this is not fun to play through.

Love the game but this is a bummer. Anybody got any ideas?
