Default Why no DVD disk for the USA

I think the decision to provide the game to the rest of the world as a DVD and not give the consumers of United States of America the same option is a horrible mistake. I do not like the fact that we are only allowed to have the digital download of the game. I like having the disk. Call me old fashioned, but it is what I prefer. I would like to know how other Tomb Raider gamers think about this decision.

It was a horrible decision. I too prefer and have a physical copy of every TR release but looks like i might have to miss out on this one.
I will not support Gabe Newell and pay 50 bucks for a nothing more then a serial key.
As far as having a physical copy shipped via Amazon UK be sure to check with the seller as some ive seen will not ship the game to the US.
Which brings me to this....
If a copy is purchased via amazon uk and mailed to a US user i wonder if the product is region locked and unable to be installed with US users?

Meh, I haven't bought a physical copy of a PC game in ages, my build doesn't even have a CD/DVD drive. Go digital!

PC games do not sell anywhere near as good as consoles in America, I see alot of publishers doing this now.

Sucks, but on Steamworks games I don't even use the disc lol, I have 130mb internet so I just type in the CD key

There is a fine line between producing a boxed copy at a certain quantity before it actually starts eating into its own costs. You think, “Is it worth producing?” There’s distribution costs. There’s production costs. There’s all these things coming into play that… You have to make a decision as a business. I believe the decision was right. The decision to turn it into a digital PC version and distribute it that way means it’s accessible to more people.
Sure... That is exactly why this Digital Download is $49.99 (s
Steam, Amazon etc etc).
It is disgusting, greed and laziness.

At $50 bucks they should at least offer the Digital Download with the option to receive the disk.
No disk? Then the D.DL should be only $19.99.
