this may sound really stupid...but im in voradors mansion for the 2nd time...and im tryin to give janos his heart...but it wont let me...i checked my inventory and i dont have the heart under artifacts and i tried to go back to avernus but it wont let me...ive tryed everything...please tell me what to do!!

can someone please tell me how to put the heart into janos? im stuck and this is really annoying plz help!! ive already beaten kain and gotten his heart...and im @ janos in his tomb...but i dunno if there is something i missed or some way i gotta put the heart in....

I'm trying to get the heart to Janos, but I need to know how to break the wall under the water in the crypt. I don't know what to do. Can somebody help, please?

switch to the earth reaver...and you will sink under water so just hit it when you are underwater! if u find a way to give janos the heart tell me

This would be a super duper spoiler for some and I'm sure some may mistakenly read this, so I'll be perfectly clear...... the end of the vampire citadel for Raziel.... the boss... if you haven't reached this point do not read this spoiler:

What is the best way to defeat Janos??????? This is REALLY friggin annoying, he just obliterated me. I wupped about 15% off of him, and then he has this block he does w/ his wings and turns the block against me knocking a significant amoutn of power from me. I managed to get him in the midst of a couple special attacks, but this has the potential to be so REDICULOUSLY frustrating I'd much rather ask one of you for the best strategy.

I got the idea I suppose.... I've got him down to about 25% now... his defenses are just EXTREMELY annoying

I just defeated Janos and here's how i did it:

Do not fight him when he is on the ground. It's impossible.
Wait for one of his air attacks. They come in 3 varieties.
1) dive bomb
2) whirlwind
*these two are dodgeable
3) big giant blast thing that you can't dodge

Anyways, after Janos comes down from one of these attacks, he's vulnerable to at least 5 hits. Just slowly hack away at him like this. After a while, he summoned some revenants, which got my health back up.

Good luck with the next chapter. I just started it and I'm getting my butt whipped.

First time post, and I appear to be stuck at a place I have not seen covered in this thread, so here goes.

I'm at my second go of Vorador's mansion after I have the heart of darkness. I've made it to the courtyard and knocked over the pillar with the air reaver dealie underneath it. I take it to the balcony above (on the side I came from) but cannot seem to advance here... the pillar is out of my reach... although I seem to remember being on it and shifting into spectral to jump to the other pillars across. But I missed my jump, and had to shift back into material... have not been able to get on the pillar again. Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions?

Use the lift from the Air Reaver to get back to the ledge. When you knocked over the pillar it hit the one next to it and pushed it slightly forward. Once on the ledge jump to this pillar and then to the one in front of it and then to the opposite ledge. To your left there will be a balcony with a gate you must warp through. Use you TK on the corner of the mansion and then use the gargoyle head that falls to get up on the balcony, shift through the gate and continue from there.

edit: Forgot to mention that you don't need to shift to make the jumps, they should all be within reach in the Material Realm.

dtepes: Had the first pillar gone back to how it was before the other collapsed, it should be easier to land it not harder. If it's the second pillar that you can't land then it might be something going on with the game that isn't suppose to be happening.

Not sure what's going on, but it's odd how I can land on it once with no problem, and now after 3 hours of jumping, I keep bouncing off the edge... I know games have bugs, but this is just dissapointing Guess that rush to beat FF X-2 got the best of 'em..

I am supposed to place the heart of darkness into Janos, but I cannot seem to get Raziel to do anything but slash at the air. Am I missing something? I am right beside his body, so I don't know what I could be doing wrong.

Okay, so has anyone finished the XBox version of this game?! My problem is one that has been mentioned before...

I get the Heart of Darkness, but nothing happens when I try to "apply" it to the carcass. Raziel just swings his blade ignorantly. This is really a kick in the teeth. Chapter 12 - I had to go all the way back to a savegame in Chapter 5 and am now working my way back to it. Once I had gotten the Heart, I saved the game and went to bed. When I reloaded it - the Heart was not in my inventory anymore (I'm fairly certain it was before). So my theory is that this is a savegame glitch and that I'm not to save my game and/or quit when I have important items in my bread-basket. I'm going to retry it without stopping the game after I get the Heart... but damn...

Any thoughts? Comments? Concerns? It's already a pain in the butt for me to go through and re-complete 7 chapters worth of stuff due to a crappy glitch; it would be even more so if it's still there when I return.



Aside from having to use "the force" to fight people when the camera decides to stare at something irrelavant and a few "falling out of the levels" at key times, this game is pure awesomeness .

With your newly advanced TK power, blast that crubling part of the pillar that has green swirls around it, and then climb out.

i was stuck there for awhile myself cuz i thought it had something to do with that lil box room beneath the curtain

and where are you stuck? i answered where to go in your last post, but how is "beginning" different from where you just were?

Go inside the mansion. Right inside the door, where the statue of Vorador is (or was, if you've already torn it down), there's a climbable wall to your left as you face the statute. Climb up it to get onto a balcony. Jump off the balcony and glide around to the left. There's another climbable wall section you can grab onto to get where you need to be.

This is a tricky jump, difficult to do. It's made even worse by terrible camera angles. Be persistant, and you'll eventually make it.
