Mexico - Thralls (Wii Version)

I've been having a lot of trouble with the Thralls in Mexico. For some reason I can't get Lara to jump on them. I keep pressing A, and I've tried Action (-) which apparently works on other platforms but not the Wii. I'd really like to continue on, but I'm kinda stuck with them.
