I love busting out!! My favourite place was Pixel Acres and of course, Tinsel Bluffs (the view!!).

It used to be a real pain, before I discovered the cheats. Now my girl has completed all the careers and is nearly friends with everyone.

I think they sort of do, I did see a beach in there, and then of course the city.

That's amazing. I had to sweat bullets to get my fav created family to be the toast of the town. Oh wait you cheated didn't you?

Of course. But I did get to Malcolm's Mansion beforehand. Three times with three other people. I decided to give it just a tiny nudge.

I'm halfway done. Rino and I will be working together on the Iraq parts. Since it's his homeland, he knows more about Iraq than I do. I've only read about Mesopotamia, one day hopefully I will be able to go there. Rachie just gave me an Idea! Use Sims to play out my fic.

Not yet. But it's pretty much what the sims do, apart from have children (who are born, live, die. They have children who are born, live, die...)

Alot of people do use the sims as a guide to their stories, or if they're not too flash at describing areas, they use that as a sort of "visual novel".

You can read some on the sims website. Nightingale happens to be one of my favourites. There's just something about an evil little girl twin that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

No, a mesh isn't an animation. A mesh is the "skeleton" of a 3D object, or the shape. A skin is what the outfit will look like (which can be modified).

EDIT: If you want a mesh for a downloadable sim, you have to download the mesh. Otherwise, everything but the part needing the mesh will turn up in your game.

What do you mean by "do things my sims can't"? Certain games have new add-on options and animations that suit the game. Picking up and stroking a cat in Sims 2 Pets, for example, which you cannot do if you don't have that game. You can't modify the game to do your own animations (you probably could though....but I wouldn't).

It is easier to use in game meshes. No point in downloading things just to get a cats tail.

I have managed to get pretty sweet sims without needing to get meshes for them.

Oh, you mean in the stories? Yeah, people use those, the games animations and the ordinary ones, and the move objects and boolprop cheats to move them around.

I did a shot of a girl sim doing a cool pose. You'd think she actually did that, but it was just a reaction from an interaction with another sim, doing the "Do you like what you see?" option. I just moved her away from the other sim.

I went to thesims3.com and saw the devs talking about what it was like making the Sims 3. They totally act like the Sims. I know its to replicated the game character's. Somehow I think the Sims are still speak Simlish or whatever. he he. So how its a part of the Sims experience now. If the began speaking English I'd be like wha?

The only English phrase I've ever heard from a sim was in Bust'n Out.
She said, "Ohh NEVER!"

I was like she spoke English!!

Sometimes, if you record yourself imitating a sim really really well and then reverse the file, it can turn out in English. Only very few times has that ever happened though, so don't get too excited.

I believe that Simlish is a mix of English, Japanese, Swedish, Kazhakstanian, Dutch, Protugese, and various others. I think I read that somewhere...
