Help! stuck in peru after killing t rex!!!

Can anyone tell me what i need to do and where i have to go after i defeated t rex?
I just seem to be going around in circles.
I went past where he fell, and swam through the tunnel. I have been all around the ledges above where he's lying.
Wherever i go i seem to end up in the same places.
I think i need to get back to where the cogs are connected to the water fall, bet don't know how to.

Once you've climbed up into the temple and got the cog, swim down until you get out at an opening. You should be able to follow the passageways, ledges and poles all the way up to the roof. Once on the roof, you need to jump onto the series of big stone ledges until you get to the bridges. Then follow the bridges all the way around to an opening in the cliffedge that you can follow down back into the waterfall room.
