Nevermind ........ I was doing run instead of walk. Just nudge the contoller so she walks forward and hit jump and crouch and it works every time.
I am curious why it is so hard to do the swan dive? I am using a Logitech Dual Action gamepad and checked the various web sites on how to do it and I could only get it to work once out of 40 tries. What is the point of making a non-combat move so hard to do? or am I having a tech problem. Adrenaline rush works for me so it probably isn't my controller. I think a patch is required or I am missing something obvious. I tried forward jump crouch in every timing I could manage Sirandar Last edited by Sirandar; 07-16-2007 at 06:15 PM. |

How far are you in the game?
The best way to master almost every move is finishing the game, then when you hit the time trials it's time to jump like mad and just as you're jumping the second you lay your finger onto the button/key just push the roll key/button just one second later. (If that makes sense) and just keep doing it until you got her to dive. It took me a while to get that jump right, and it is a pain in the arse. |

It's kinda hard to do it on keyboard though I'm using a Logitech controller, too.
And yeah I don't really like how the controls are done for the dive though I got used to it yet I'd really like it if they tweak it. So yeah you got that down right? While holding forward (or even tapping a slight forward or any direction), immediately press..X and O - GAH sorry I cant remember the four button on the logitech controller so I'm using the PS2's - you know where the X and O button goes right Basically immediately press jump and the roll button immediately while running/walking or even a slight tap of a the analog stick in any direction. |

I couldn't figure out how to do it until about halfway through the game.
I'm so used to using "walk" for that it threw me off.

I've managed to do the swan dives in both Legend (PC with keyboard) and Anniversary (PS2).
The trick was to immediately press the Roll key after pressing Jump. Now I just have her running around doing that like some insane woman.
