Error! Wrong disc inserted..

HI the installation of Thief 3 was EASE, but!! If I have no disk in the machine the message sais: No disc inserted. IF the disc IS IN, the message sais:
Wrong Disc inserted. Please insert he Thief: Deadly Shadow disc into your CD/DD drive.
Any Suggestion?
I run windows XP, 1 gig memory, pentium 4 2D, ATI x500???.

Try disabling one of your cores on your CPU to start with.

Do you have the European DVD or the USA two disc set?

If the DVD the only suggestion is try a re-install.

Uninstall the program, delete all Folders left over, and reinstall. Make sure your Virus application, if any, is turned off and that no other windows apps are running.

If you have the USA version with the CD's try a reinstall right over the current one.

Also if you have two CD players, or a CD/DVD Burner and a player that you play the game using the same CD/DVD player you used for the installation.

Also there is a problem with some early model CD/DVD players that do not recognize the Disc.
