"If the sun is a star, why can't we see it at night?" "If stars are so huge, how did the astronauts steer around them on their way to the moon?" "If the (solar) eclipse is so dangerous (to look at), why are they having it?"

These are probably the same adults that stomp on the accelerator so they can get to the next red light and wait for it to change to green. (my pet peeve)
