Default Problem Loading Game

System Specs:
1.2 Ghz Athlon-Thunderbird
Geforce 4 Ti4200 128 MB (Running on a 4X AGP Motherboard)
SoundBlaster Live X-Gamer 5.1
512 MB SDRAM PC133
DirectX9.0b

I have a problem that I cannot figure out, I have installed all the new drivers availible to me from NVIDIA, Soundblaster has no new drivers for the SoundBlaster I have since August of 2002 so no problems there. Updated to DirectX9.0b recently, and whenever I try to Run the Demo I get the same problem.

Goes as follows:

1. Logos start up and I can see my regular mouse pointer in the center (No problem, skip through intros)
2. Come up to the Main Menu Screen the mouse pointer turns into the Deus Ex 2 lookin pointer and I change my settings to fit my system 800x600, high graphics/medium/low graphics.
3. Load into the New Game button, make my Alex Denton, Male, set the Difficultry to normal, and start the game, press the confirm and I go to the main loading screen.
4. Mouse pointer changes from Deus Ex 2 Pointer back to my Microsoft pointer, no loading is occuring and the little red light that shows the hard drive is loading or working blips once every 10 - 20 seconds.
5. Game shows no signs of loading at all, the bar at the top of the screen never comes all the way over (As in for the game to complete Loading).
6. 4 - 5 minutes later the window screen heading appears saying Deus Ex 2 at the top with the minimize and X-button active on it, the screen is gray (Not active), when I got to activate it, the game crashes back into the desktop.

I have tried all the information in the Read Me concerning Technical Problems, and nothing has changed, I have tried utilizing my alternate Voodoo 4 Card, and get the same problems, don't know what is going on, so any information that would help me out would be greatly appricated, I would like to know if I can run Deus Ex 2 on my computer before it comes, waste of a Presale if I can't play it. Or test to see if I like it enough
