Driber had said that the rules would now say that the person who is 'it' must already know the celeb nominated and I had presumed that meant the name of the celeb without having to go and search the internet to find out who it is.

Now that I know this... I won't feel guilty when I pick a celeb who's name may not be recognisable, but their acting role/face is, hehe.

Yeah that's the problem with asking questions that are open to interpretation, such as "notable award", "long running series", "big movie star", etc. Since you didn't specifically write "emmy", you can't blame ABH for answering "no"

Firstly, just to say, my query is not to 'blame' ABH for anything... we're not debating anything of dire importance, it's just a game.

I can't really agree that my question was "open to interpretation". He asked for further clarification, I answered any 'highest' awards and gave examples of what they might be including Academy, Golden Globe etc.
As an Emmy Award is one of the highest and considered the television equivalent to the Academy Awards, I would have answered yes to that question... personally.

But I have taken note of what you have said for future reference.

I only tend to watch Doctor Who and Sherlock, whenever they happen to be on. On the BBC iPlayer, yet. I don't even know if my TV can pick up TV channels as I use it as a computer monitor.

You have made the rules and I just wish to check if they've altered. Previously in this thread a similar query was brought up by someone and you replied:

If you answer it with "no", it really needs to be a NO to all possible definitions. If the criteria meets only just one of the definitions, then the answer is still "yes".

As an Emmy award is considered a high award; then by definition it requires the answer yes; as per your own rules.

You praised the actor for having won an Emmy Award.
I thought it was a high award... but I guess not then, as 'personally' decided. That's fair enough.
