Cool Game engine still blows my mind visually

Has there been a game beeing even 0.1% close to what Just Cause 2 is doing ? Its doing a huge open world with just 1 fast loading, on top of that it gives us one of the most incredible enviroment details ive ever seen in a game top with insane view distance and most realistic water detail ive seen.

Just driving with a boat and seeing actual ocean vegetation underneath me is just insane and you can dive freely underneath and there is actual reefs you can swim around down there. And you have these huge mountain areas that simply looks stunning to say the least.

I mean this engine this game runs on just blows anything out of the water.
Imagine a Superman game that would run in an enviroment like this ? Flying across these mountains, going supersonic 1 metre on top of the water and seeing the ripples.

Hell even a diving game or a fishing game could easily be fantastic with this game or a flight simulator .......... Why arent companies using this engine ?
Are the people behing the Avalanche engine just pure geniouses and nobody else can copy them ? I mean this engine works flawlessly on PS3 and Xbox360 as well and with THIS amount of details and fast loading its just ............. work of art

I bet there's a lot of stuff just missing that they didn't add to get what you see but otherwise are missing. Like some games like Project Gotham Racing are JUST cars and nothing else. I look at the cars and think they're great but they'd be better if they were like that in an actual game with an ACTUAL plot!

My favorite part is how they do all that without any framerate issues, on PC and console both. It's nice.

One of the most underrated games, if you can enjoy the freedom and not get bored after the storyline finishes guaranteed you will like the game!
