I saw this several times now, so I very fast just did my own sketch of it^^ ... Not half as good as all the other ones and the face reminds me of Jasmine from Aladdin hehe

WOW that is the first thing i thought of xD I personally think it is really good xD I mean all of my drawings i have never gotten to the body :/ Im getting there! Face is important too <3

I do have a few questions.... and some maybe nobody can answer xD
1. Can we sell fan art we make? I know what copyright is but I'm just still not sure if we can still sell our own stuff even though its related to a franchise. Does that make sense? eep
Im trying to make money here xD and one way i thought i could earn a little income was from my drawings/necklaces. But since they are related to Tomb Raider :/

2. I have a few fan art pieces from the 7th contest and i was wondering if i could post them here :P There's 4 pieces (all from me) 3 drawings/1 polymer clay thing.
EDIT: I also have a current piece but it is pretty much a trace of the new image by Brian (crossroads thing). The only reason I'm tracing is because i just needed a larger image and well i can't print it that big xD Half of its tracing and Half is me improvising :P I was wondering if i could post a "WIP" pic of it...

I must say a lot of these artworks are REALLY good i mean even with the resin kits i could only dream of making it look good xD Im trying I signed up for an art class at my new high school that I'm hoping could help me understand more

Yes, it was. I learned a lot by making it, and I might get into the hobby ^_^ After all, you're buying figures and statues at low prices, and sometimes the only way to get a statue of some obscure game character is by buying a resin kit

I did start out with a pretty bad kit lol. From what I've read, this kit was of poor quality
I just ordered a new one more suitable for beginners and from a site with a good reputation:

And I've already noted a ton of other kits I like XD
Imma try to use a nebuliser as a spraythingie for (thinned) paint. That'd make things soooooo much easier! Painting everything by hand takes ages X_X

1- Well, I'm sure you can try to sell your art through auction sites like Ebay, but selling or advertising through the forums is strictly forbidden.
2- Ofcourse you can. Every sort of Tomb Raider art (except the perverted ones) may be posted here

*sidethingy* Should i change my avatar? all it is is part of my artwork.... i don't really like it as an avatar. Its not "colorful" lol. Everybody else is "flashy" :P Well all my artwork is in pencil so nothing i make will be colorful xD xD


EDIT: Here are the images for 3 out of my 5 artworks. These 3 were entered into the contest. The two other entries left are gonna be uploaded tomorrow- My necklace and the new pencil drawing.
Sidenote: The scanner took away some shading so some pics make look less "defined". Like the face on this first pic had more shading and depth. This first pic is my favorite because i worked really hard on it First face i ever drew (well WANTED to draw)

I came across this new Lara cosplay yesterday. She calles herself Dayna Baby Lou and her depiction of Lara is fantastic. And for those disatisfied about the reboot Lara's body.... well you sure won't be complaining about Dayna
