Elevator in King Arthur part not showing up!

I beat the serpent, run back through the flames and get to the room with all the broken stair cases. There's supposed to be an elevator to jump on that'll take me back up but it never shows up. I've restarted the game, saved and reloaded, and even started the game completely over but nothing's working. Has anyone encountered this problem? Please help. It's a really fun game and I'd like to finish but I can't if I can't get back up
