Oh hey guise, I'm back. Anyways, straight to the point now.
Turns out my father's computer is pretty advanced and can run most games, even for a standard computer. Thing is, it's graphics card is a little outdated. So, my question is.. What's a good, powerful graphics card that can, say, run Battlefield 3 on at least recommended settings, but won't cost me an arm or a leg? It'll only have to last around two years, since I'll be deployed after then and won't be able to take it with me. Thank you everyone ahead of time for searching.

Not many choices in size.
You have the newest 2gb or the older 1gb. Then half that and half that etc. My guess would be go for a 1gb or if you're strapped you'll just need to find a 586mb, if that even works. Haha.... Here's what it says is recommended but I don't know about this kind of specs; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or AMD Radeon HD 6950
