Early in the game I was hit by EMP and the effects have not worn off. I defeated the first boss without radar, wonky crosshairs, etc. Even after cutscenes still no fix. I'm going to try purchasing upgraded radar, shutting off HUD items, etc. to see if it somehow "resets" it. Will report back if that works.
I'm on PS3 version. I've seen others post this same issue. We need a patch that lets the game somehow make sure the EMP effects turn off. Kind of a bush league bug if you ask me... |

At the end of Motherly Ties (I think that is right) you have to tell Megan's mother what you found out. After selecting each conversation tree option, to report each finding, the conversation is stuck in limbo forever. They just stand there pretending to talk to each other forever until you load a different save.
I've tried everything. Leaving and coming back. Shooting everyone in the room except Megan. Selecting dialogue in a different order. You name it. Nothing works. (Edit, megan's mother) |

I'm surprised more people don't notice this but:
On the PC version the brightness of the game is just too high, or the in-game gamma isn't set right by the devs. I have my luminosity on the lowest level and my monitor is properly calibrated. If i compare what i see with the trailers and gameplay movies that Eidos released, my game is way too bright. There is no atmosphere anymore because everything can be seen. Can you guys please look into this for a future patch? All other games i have DO have proper brightness and/or gamma settings so I believe this is a Deus Ex HR PC problem. I have a friend who has the PS3 version(with properly calibrated TV as well) and it is darker and it looks so much better( in regards to the contrast and brightness/gamma). |

I'm having trouble on the buggy "Cloak and Daggers" quest on the xbox 360. My problem is with the Double-T part of the quest, and eliminating all MCB. Unlike most people who have reported this bug, my problem is not with the MCB thug in the kitchen disappearing. My problem is with 1 of the 2 MCB corridor patrol thugs disappearing 100 feet underground. No way to alert him and no way to shoot the invisible marker. When walking through the small tunnels that take you to the other side of detroit; the marker temporarily shifts to 60 feet above ground. However, the thug returns to his underground spot anytime you get within 50feet of him.

I guess I'll post here too.
Playing on Xbox 360 I've ran into the Cloak and Dagger bug, but it's impossible to complete because the 6th gang member isn't appearing on a nearby buildings, the locator is literally floating approx. 170m away, in the middle of the air, past the water tower. If I try to head towards the locator to try and find him he re-appears in the last downtown building, somewhere just above and in the garage you can open. He teleports between these two impossible to get to areas. Either way he's impossible to see or shoot, I've tried every possible solution. I saw that too, Anbokr. I tried re-loading a save just before taking this quest and I killed the one guy in the corridor then started the quest. When I got to that point not only was the one guy still 170m in the sky past the water tower, but one corridor guard appeared to be 100m down in the ground now. |

Hi !
Another cloak and dagger bug for me ... I run on an french XBOX preorder version of the game. Not only I can't see the 6th guy , but Double T can't neither be find. I hope the developpers will fix this bug, because it is clearly one of the most frequent (at least it seems to be when I read this forum), and it is also a very annoying one. PS : pardon my poor english : i'm french ...

hi ive noticed a wierd graphical glitch on PC version.
the weapons in my hand (and in npc hands 2) start resonating... like blending in and out of adams hands also some minor graphical glitches on the weapons like texture flickering. it looks like its place specific, wierd might be a driver problem but i cant be sure thats why im posting. using latest ati drivers (11.9) on radeon 4870 512mb vram. |

Pardon if these have already been posted.
The Lazarus show broadcasts are playing incorrectly in some locations, mainly Hengsha and Tai Young. For example, in Hengsha and Tai Young you will hear him speaking about the replacement chips and WTO recall, even though those have yet to occur in the story. Additionaly, when returning to Detroit, he will be repeating the same broadcasts as during the first run-through. Occaisonaly, conversations between NPCs will not load. When walking through Sariff HQ, for example, sometimes you can overhear two or more people discussing something, but play through that same area again and you'll hear nothing. |

developers have done an excellent game, thanks a lot! and also kept the spirit of the first part. but there are some serious complaints.
1) The most annoying - it's NPC. they are even on the hardest difficulty behaving foolishly. For example, the character has killed his partner, and he after a minute or calm as if nothing had happened. if you noticed, did not find again calm down. Is such a thing could be in real life? 2) The character animation is often weak and not natural. 3) The little things, little types of weapons and gadgets, few models of equipment. For example, only two types of robots, only one rifle, one pistol, etc. In addition, modifications to the weapon can not be removed, the weapon does not wear ... it would be nice to add an RPG element in this way. 4) at the end of the story is too crumpled. weak non-linear component: your choice within the game that changes the course of a little story. 5) it would be nice to have more variety of locations and more side quests. but in general, look forward to continuing to play it well!

Game consistently blue screens with "ati2dvag" error at same point in Harvesters Hideout. Area is avoidable if you come in from top but not through front.
Updated drivers and does not fix it. |

SSAO is still bugged in Eyefinity with 6950 CF. The FPS tanks near walls or other objects.
Also microstuttering is evident in CF. The game seems to scale poorly in Eyefinity too, so the end result is that 6950CF is worse than a single 6950.

I'm getting a strange bug in the Missing Link DLC on PC. When I enter the CIC the game draws a black screen and enters the menu(I can hear the menu music playing and the sounds of the buttons as I move the mouse around. If I hit ESC, the black screen remains and pops me back into the game's cutscene for a split second. It took a while going back and forth like this, but I got through the cutscene this way. At the end I still wasn't able to get back in to the game, it kept kicking me back the menu with a black screen. Upon force quitting the game and loading it back up I noticed that I now had a new autosave, I imagine this was created after the cutscene though when loading is finished on it the initial problem returns again.
Any ideas guys? If there isn't a solution, could someone provide a save game file after the CIC? |

Some bugs i encounter and noticed in my very first playtrought for PC, latest patch, clean saves:
1- Letitia doest have always the pda for reward for his beer's "quest" even if the game says so. Thats even you if knock she out and register. I think talking to her very late in detroit triggers this. 2- The ironsight of the shotgun shoots whatever it feel and not where you intended. Thats applys both for the preorder and the main game one. 3- Physics do VERY STRANGE things when you do takedowns close to a wall. 4- The pc version is overbright if compared to consoles or trailers. Too much. Thats not happening in the missing link. Shadows are almost non existant in any setting. 5- The cloak and dagger spam gang menber bug that renders it unable to pass. Inadmissible. 6- The lazarus radio doest always work in some places and repeat too much. I mean there are different transmission but you listen to pretty much the same all trought the game. Look at that. 7- Picking the first pda in front of the funicular in the Picus basement later than intended doest update my registry of it. Like if it never existed. I supect it can happens with others. 8- Moire patterns that come and go and graphical tesellation gliths in DX11 even with the latest patch. (Police logos just come to mind) 9- Ghost bonus that doest seem to work. 10- Sandoval goes aggro directly if you hack Taggart computer. 11- Some key bindings start to fail midgame (in my case smart vission with the mouse buttons) and you had to restart the game in steam for them to work. 12- Sometimes when you execute the game it sounds too low. You have to restart. Thats happens many times for me and I have a SoundBlaster with latest drivers. With ext. headphones with its own soundcard happens too. Only happens with DXHR. 13- A heavy graphical glith in the first aid kid that is around in the room you find your gear in the missing link (DX11). 14- The missing link crashes too often if you try to exit from the desktop option in the menu. 15- A glass that should be broken for you to pass trought was intact for me in the Panchea first lockdown doors after Darrow confession. A real pain. I have to load a previous save. And thats all i can remenber right now. But im sure there was some more. And im not sure if this is intended but the warrior month quest in hengsha 2 doest update after finding the pda in the secret basement. Another bug in the missing link with the save/atosave feature, the guards restart their conversations after loading even when they are not close each others or you had listen already.

Has the problem in the initial post of this thread ever been resolved or a fix announced? Nothing happens when you choose an option in the conversation with Zeke Sanders. I've got the same problem on PS3 and it apparently still hasn't been patched despite being out for nearly 3 months.
