sounds like a good choice. she is a good actress and i think she would be able to pull it off playing lara. but not for a younger one.

btw, big "ghost in the shell" fan my self . watched both movies like over 20 times plus the series. best sci-fi since blade runner

Weiss would have been great. I'd have preferred Kate Beckinsale, though. Sounds the part, looks the part, has the action chops. Either would certainly have been better than Jolie.

That's definitely it! I thought Kate wouldn't be a good choice, but with a little bit of make up, she would look like Lara. BTW, that pic is amazing, her facial expression is so badass!

just heard Camilla talking about her thoughts about the movie, she says she keeps her fingers crossed that she might be bought in for that. She's neither denying or confirming that she is asked for it yet but i feel that there is some more behind it

Before the reboot, I would have loved to have seen Kate as Lara. But now... she can't pass for 21 But lets not kid ourselves, she is *BLEEEEEEEPING* GORGEOUS!! There are 20 somethings who'd kill to have her looks.

Why oh why can't someone wipe my memory and plant her as my wife??

pretty much like the last 3. or in this case, first 2 movies with kate. just lots of action, some gory moments and a solid story. it continues where part 2 left of. so still a good watch.....on kate

How about Holliday Grainger? She's captivatingly beautiful, has the lips, nose and eyebrows and the accent. She has hazely greeny basically weirdly coloured eyes but contacts would do the trick. She's also an amazing actress imo.

Really? She's 24 but plays a 14 year old Lucrezia Borgia in The Borgias and definitely looks around 14 especially in the first series. Maybe it's the lipstick.
