Should There Be (More) Merchandising?

Looking back at previous Tomb Raider merchandise, there was such a huge spectrum of things ranging from back packs to awesome action figures but I feel like the merchandise diversity has substantially decreased I guess what I'm getting at is; are all of you as hopeful as I am that there will be a wide range of Tomb Raider Merch?? I want official merch too. Shirts, BackPacks Figures, etc.

From what i've seen so far. There's just too many merchandises already. Maybe a few official items and collectibles instead of flooding the market with useless junks. Collectibles as in the majority of people can afford and not just for a few elites.

I do love buying all the merchandise and adding to my TR collection. The only difficult one about this game is I think if they made new merchandise then it would probably involve a Lara with tons of cuts and all gritty and that isn't the sort of thing I would collect on T-shirts, posters, mugs etc. I like mechandise that shows Lara as cool with sophisticated sexyness.

I love TR action figures the most. I always wanted a Natla action figure with wings. If they made new figures across Lara's years then very cool or a new one for this game but not have Lara too beaten up.

I have no doubt we'll see a ton of new merch after the new game releases.

I don't think it will all be Lara with cuts and bruises....that's really only a small part of the new game(s) I think.

I agree, even more 15 anniversary merch would be nice... I mean jsut the shirt and poster were cool but not enough yano? I'm hoping that theres a soundtrack release, art books, the works.. maybe things they they dont involve in the collectors edition. and Ugh. of course i did >.< haha just when i thought i came up with an interesting poll you go and ruin it Driber pp

I am absolutely all for new stuff coming out for TR. I got started on TR late in the game and never had the oportunity to collect TR merchandise when it was still affordable, so now this is my chance

I don't know about anyone else, but where I live, you can't go into any store that even slightly caters to a gamers taste without being bombarded by "Halo" and "Call of Duty" t-shirts and merch. With a new game coming up, would you all like to be able to find TR merch in your local stores instead of having to hunt on E-Bay, and if so, what would you actually buy?

Maybe. I have a couple of Lara statuettes and I think I had a mouse mat once. Plus lots of the comics, if they count.

So yeah - depends on what it is.

I guess I would go to a shop and buy merch. It's easier to search fpr hours and hours on ebay... I guess I would buy shirts and stuff like things. Just like the things I now already bought on ebay. Like the tomb raider shirt which camilla also was wearing. Would be much easier to buy it in a shop and try which sizes would fit the most perfect. on the internet it always has something to do with luck.
but here it's also rare to find game-related stuff in shops... different from super mario i mean.

Nearly all shops around here don't sell gaming merchandise at all (well, except for some game stores, but I rarely come there because they're so expensive), so if there'd be a really cool Tomb Raider T-shirt or statue, I'd probably buy it on ebay or somewhere else.

I have asked this question before, but I still feel the need to ask it again, am I the only one that would pay money for licensed Tomb Raider things? I remember a Speck iPhone case that was part of a contest prize, I'd buy that. The black shirts with the logo, I'd buy that too! The skateboards in the contest, I don't even skateboard and I'd buy that!!! I seriously am hopeful that some TR goodies get released because it's been far too long since anything other than action figures have been released.. (I'm getting that too..) I don't think the word "obsession" begins to cover how I feel about this game

since the game is world wide expected, im sure there will be some things you can get.
i am more after the tshirt and a statue. but not that statue we saw during the E3. this one doesnt look nice at all.

Haha Driber, that'd be a well noted mental note and as for the contest I'm trying to come up with an idea because I'm not very artistic or talented in that aspect but yeah, I'm just saying there are plenty of stores here (in the U.S.) that sell TONS of video game merch, and I would just like Tomb Raider to be among them, and for it to be official. I bought the Nerd Machine shirt already but it's a bit plain for my taste.
