Great pictures!!
Do you take requests? I was wondering if someone could draw me a picture of Lara in a handstand pose but one where she's without clothes. That would be great if anyone could. Thanks!

I've skimmed the whole thread and I must say you're pretty darn talented! The Medusa statue is my personal favourite, as well as the floral paintings, adorable
Also, you have a good eye for details and shading...the two things which I always have problems capturing...I draw myself from time to time, but it's just crappy doodles. Do keep up the good work, I'll be looking forward to see more!

@Chinese Bomb
Thank you so much for your kind words! If you liked the Medusa statue, you'll love my entry for the By Hand-contest! I'm working on it right now and I'm super excited to see it finished ![]() @Driber Yes, sorry, I took 2 quick pictures with my Blackberry and I couldn't be bothered to turn them :P Don't worry, I think I'll scan them anyway, since they are very blurry now And I'm way to lazy :P + Posting works in a new post puts the thread on to of the list ![]() And yes, I am very lucky to have a crazy aunt like that. I really like her and share everything with her, and she does all these outrageous things sometimes XD I use my mouse for browsing and all that, but I use my wacom tablet for all my artsy (photoshop and all) projects on the computer ![]() @phoenix630 Thank you Which is your favorite flower?

You're so welcome
it's you who should be thanked, really, watching your drawings suddenly inspired me to pick up a pencil myself ![]() As for your contest entry, I cannot wait to see it finished btw, just out of curiosity: what kind of materials do you use for sculpting?

@chinese bomb
Well, I sculpt a lot with regular clay, and the medusa statue was my first statue in a type of clay called polymer clay, a clay that you can bake in your home oven and is a bit like plastic. The statue I'm working on right now is from a brand called Sculpey. I'm still getting used to it, since it feels and works with very differently from waterbased clay. Also, polymer clay sculptures are usually rather small (12'' and smaller), while waterbased clay sculptures have to be big in order to put in some details. When I started it, I handled it very roughly and used a lot of pressure like you would with normal clay. This didn't really work for the soft and small polymer clay, so I had to adjust my methods and treat it more softly. Thirdly, with polymer clay you have to use small, metal tools like knives and pointy thingies and all that so the surface of the clay stays smooth, while with normal clay you simply use big wooden tools and big knives and all that, and you don't smooth it out until the sculpture is finished (In fact, you can get some nice effects by not smoothing at all, especially when the statue is cast in bronze later). That's why my polymer clay sculpture ended up with a dented and creased skin, though this might actually work to my advantage. Anyway, it's been baked now, so it all comes down to the painting ![]() I just noticed I haven't posted a single clay sculpture of mine, even though I've been doing that a lot lately... Time to get the camera ![]() EDIT: Whoaa, let me add some spaces there XD

That's cool :P Though I do find that one a bit degrading, because it doesn't really reflect my capabilities. She's ugly XD Anywayz, a WIP: The original sketch: [IMG] [/IMG]Progress up untill now: ![]() It's called: ''Striking/A strike from below'' for now. I was thinking of maybe adding a hand or something coming out of the water, reacing for her katana on her back, with a lot of movement and dramatic water falling and all. I recently saw a tutorial to create cool, dynamic water fairly easily, and I wanna try that out ![]() I also managed to re-install my favorite screen capturing software, so this one's going on youtube
