Also wanted to say that it was a very good and 100% convincing move by DJ Riff and the only good way to go on fact, and one doesn't need to bring into some apple parallel to see that. Me too, I was extremely pleased with the leaked cinematic footage; honestly, don't know what could we possibly expect from the Thief 4 development team that would be even better than this. People who say that this trailer's animation style is out of place or don't find the protagonist's maneirisms appropriate for the general feel of the Thief universe or whatever simply don't know what they are talking about.

Anyone have any idea what "unannounced project" EM is working on, and apparently has been working on for the past 6 months, instead of working on Thief 4? I have not heard of any new IP registrations, so it's an existing IP. Do you think they have abandoned Thief 4 in favor of another Deus Ex game?

Said/read somewhere, Legacy of Kain, from what I'm told; Thief will drop after Hitman and Tomb Raider as well, got a long wait/weight to go fetch and retrieve, if you know that old gag.

Every time Stephane D'Astous opens his mouth I like him less.

I get the picture that the game could have been released a while ago but they're considering scrapping and redoing it, perhaps due to orders from on high. Look at how many different versions of Resident Evil 4 there were before it became finalised.

I fear a dumbed-down game.

An apple to you may not be an apple to someone else. Sure, it is a round, most of the time red fruit, but it may not be an "apple" to someone or something from another time or place.

The word "apple" is an invention. Our language is an invention. Everything as we know was invented. Heck, even the grass in my yard, as well as the maple trees, were invented in the lab at my local university.

Don't be so quick to accept the obvious. Don't be so arrogant to assume that everyone sees that as an apple. Open up your mind. Broaden your scope. There is a whole world out there that you all are shutting yourselves off from.
