Ok, Played them all long time ago.....now looking for #5 .... and once a year google the hell out of finding a sign of life....

rarely play games anymore because guesswhat? THEY DONT MAKE THEM THIS GOOD ANYMORE.

As a idea throwiing out there. Some type of Modern middle East conflict with updated characters retaining same "cartoon" type feel..(always was a plus in my book)?? An Afghan strike force with maps to take out Osama Bin Laden for example.

By all means retain gameplay of first 3 commandos...

With this mindset you could easily incorporate night vision goggles, aerial drones, etc..

hi, when you will start develop the game? offcourse with the oldstyle perspective view, but with all the advanced graphics that we've today, when??????????? i searched in everything and nothing new about the new commandos (just please don't do this one as a FPS) i think all we that like commandos series want a new commandos with next gen graphics with old style perspective view, tnx if you can do that

Ya' have to see the crudity of this? I think they made 'Commandos' to scrap on shotty graphics.
They most likely can't make a new 'Commandos' now because the graphics are TOO GOOD! Lo and behold if you are looking for something like a new 'Commandos' they usually are produced when the systems are becoming outdated. 1998, 1999, Sony PS was drooping low! 2006, the XBOX and PS2 were dying. Look and or expect them when the Xbox360 and PS3 are getting to be old news. They'll most likely be swooping in to scrap up with some 'Commandos 5' LOL! When or if thy release an Xbox720 and PS4. They did come out with the Nintendo Wii U. So it should be getting closer.

a next Commandos game in the good old birds-eye view tactical style will never see daylight for sure. the only thing i would love to see, is that Pyro Studios releases a modtools for C2, which makes it easier for a wider range of gamers to create new maps and stuff for our beloved game, but that also won't happen i'm afraid...

I have seen this before, like at a dead or dying party. They'll think they need more dr*gs or b**ze. If or you are talking to a therapist or psychologist they will say that, "It's YOU who need to change, not your environment.". LOL. Like rich kids will surround themselves with newest stuff but they're never happy. It's all how you see it, if you have a joy inside or a darkness. Playing 'Commandos5' will not fix that, only you can.

I stumbled on to the Commandos forum and all the fond memories of playing it came back, I really hope they revive the franchise at some point and come out with a new Commandos game.

Oops, I'm a bit late to the thread, but I'll say what I think about Pyro now:

I don't know what is the reason the team to move to develop mobile games (I'll ask them on Twitter soon to see if they will answer me that question), but I think that there's no future in these (mobile) games and there's a very small amount of people that will, or are buying them, so there's no sense in all of that I think, but In my personal opinion, if they were still computer/consoles video game developer, they were going more to succeed in the game industry than now, but as I have said one sentence above - That's my personal opinion.
