Last Revelation hates Windows 7 (apparently)

hi! I have Tomb Raider: Last Revelation and I installed it on a Windows 7 computer, however when I go to run it it says "This program has stopped working", and it gives 2 options; check for a solution and then close or just close. I really, really, really wanna play it!!!!!!!! anyway is there a patch of some sort of solution!?!?!?

Apparently I don't need the patch

I just saw on Stella's site that I'd need to run compatibility under 98/Me, and now it works (and somehow I have 4 previous saves that didn't think would exist...)! . But thanks anyway. I may need the patch in the future anyway, you never know.

new problem, possibly related to Windows 7. The game runs, and I can play it, but the controls are jumpy. if I tell her to run one of two things will happen:

1. she runs until I let go of forward
2. she runs even AFTER I let go of forward (possibly forever if you've told her to turn)

Is there a patch or yet another solution??? Please help, I'm soooooooooooooo close to technical freedom I can taste it (and it tastes really good)

okay, problem solved! I just downloaded the patch from above and it seems to have solved my erradic controls! So I did need the patch after all! Wow.

Thanks. And I have played it before, which is why I wanted to play it sooooooo much (I go to Cleopatra's Palaces if I recall correctly, but never finished the game ).

That level is amazing!

The game is indeed very long, but it's worth completing it. The story is really interesting.

I must say that the Alexandria area is definitely my favourite, the best levels are in there I think (including Cleo's Palaces ).

Well I cannot play the game decently enough seeing as thought, the stupid so called Multi-Patch wont download for me, I keep getting a Too many Connections, Please Try Again later message, if anyone can help me i would greatfully appreciate it, as I cannot start this game, and I am currently playing Underworld all because I cannot start Last Revelations.

I sometimes have slow loading issue with TR4, but I think it exist some patch to fix it right?
