A Question About The Soundtrack

So I just watched the CROSSROADS gameplay teaser over at gametrailers (if you haven't I recommend it ) but I noticed something.. After about my hundred millionth view, it struck me how good the music is thus far in the game that I've heard. Can we expect to see an official soundtrack release via itunes or some other facet? How many of y'all would like an official release? or do you prefer the game rips instead? During E3 will you be showing off some new music? or perhaps even the full theme?! (this question is more directed towards the officials if they happen to read this lol)

I don't think new musics will be released during broadcasting crossroad trailer, but I do like to be released.

I think CD said they planned to release a soundtrack and they have a famous composer apparently but I don't think he's been revealed yet.

i agree with Driber, i would love to see a soundtrack released but also a collection of the best songs in the game (of course this is probably only going to happen if the game is released already)

And the music is awesome, yes. Most games release a soundtrack collection after the game has been released, and sometimes you have an extra menu in the game itsself where you can listen to all the soundtracks And there's always youtube.

Oops sorry Driber >.< I didn't know if it had to be specific to E3 demo ONLY in that thread. And I would too! @bassamgaillany if you turn up the speakers and listen to it, you can hear a previously unheard song in the background. It's kinda chilling actually. I'm loving the tense music I've heard it's gonna be great and I'd drop money on a game+soundtrack. Maybe they can include it in the collectors edition like Max Payne 3 did with an online download code?

I'd love them to release a soundtrack, like the ME3 N7 edition did. Just as long as it's not on iTunes... I cannot stand that program as it refuses to allow me to put any music onto a non-Apple mp3 player (like my Creative), so consequently I have refused to use it.

you have to convert them in to MP3. you can use a program called Audacity and its legal.

yeah, i also have problems with itunes. i always get an error message when i try to singe in and they never send me that email to access my account as stated.
plus, for some reason it doesnt show any music at all. not even tracks/album i used to download from itunes. all i get is just stuff for iphones and ipads.
have no idea how i can get my account back again. even when i try to creat a new one, it says that this email address is already in use

Oh I'm not saying you shouldn't have made a dedicated thread about this - no problem

Just saying, if you would like the devs to tell you if there is going to be a soundtrack, also ask your question in the E3 Q&A thread and maybe Chip will end up asking the question during his interview with the devs!

I use an Eee Pad Transformer and don't have a laptop or computer so I'm android which automatically makes me hate iTunes Btw, anyone know the iTunes equivalent for an Android tablet?

Well, if there is a soundtrack released, I bet people can at least choose between MP3s or audio CD.

Both would work fine with any MP3 player

Honestly, I don't think they will release any official soundtrack yet. Usually soundtracks are released after the game is released or few months before, not so early like a year before the game.
I guess we can always hope, but I even doubt that there will be any official music used for the Crossroads trailer.

Yes, but if you go and watch the preview one more time, the music that plays throughout it sounds like a score made for the game (as I haven't heard it elsewhere and it fits the moody scene they set) you may have to turn the speakers up louder and sort of block out Lara talking, but the music they play is definitely unheard thusfar. I do like it though. and OMG I loved the launch trailer for Underworld.. great song choice for that as well
