So... I've been playing DEHR for quite a while now, and all of a sudden after this last patch, I have this very odd framerate problem.
When I start the game, it runs perfectly fine. Stays that way for a minute or two as well. Then, after about a minute, maybe two of playing, the game starts to slowdown noticeably. If I let the game continue, it slows down to a point that is unplayable. Cut-scenes are unaffected. Sound is unaffected, just the framerate. I have more than enough memory available for the game, and I have a rather powerful graphics card (GTX 580) so I shouldn't have these issues, especially since the game was fine yesterday. This is during the Montreal level, if that might have anything to do with it. Also, I feel like there was a patch today or something, since it appears that steam downloaded a patch from you guys today... Oh, and another note: If I alt+tab out of the game, then return back, the framerate improves to its normal pleasantly fast clip (but it degrades again just as fast). No amount of fiddling with graphics settings has helped (even tried forcing Vsync and Triple Buffering and all that jazz, still nada). |

I have the same exact issue with the latest patch. Game is running on Steam and my graphics card is a GTX 570.
Hope they can fix this fast... but this patch was a long time coming in the first place. |

Patch also broke my game entirely. Won't even start up in Steam, now.
http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=126137 Who's up for starting a petition for them to roll back the patch? EDIT: Btw, are we all running nVidia cards? Laptop and desktop both? (I'm Laptop) |
