DEHR Freezing on xbox 360 before getting to menu screen
It looks like there's a good chance this will have come up already, if that is the case then sorry but i don't know what else to try O.o
I'm having a problem with Deus Ex HR on my xbox 360. Whenever I start the game (by inserting the disk or 'playing' from the dashboard) it gets about as far as that first 'ATTENTION' screen where it shows you what the save icon and a few seconds into the music starting before freezing. It gets slightly further every now and then but never as far as the main menu.
When I say freezes I mean the music starts doing this one second repetition, no motion on the screen and the console won't do anything (no guide button or anything like that) I have to press the power button on the console whereupon the music stops immediately, the image stays for about 10 seconds longer then the console clicks off and starts up again and behaves perfectly fine until I start the game again. The disk - out of the augmented edition - is absolutely spotless o.o and I admit the console is very old and possibly on it's last legs but none of my other games are doing this.
There was a recent update. This issue started occuring before the update and continued afterwards. I tried installing the game to the hard drive but that has made no difference. I have played through the entire game before on this console with no problems and it was working fine the other week, just not since the other day. Since it was last working the only thing that has changed which I see could have any bearing on the game is that I moved some saves (with the augmented content) from the HDD on a friends console into the cloud. Can't remember if I moved them from the cloud onto my local hdd yet.... I have other saves already on my local hdd anyway. If I did could that be causing this?!? O.o
