Yeah, I do plan on picking it up again and continuing on. I just don't feel like it right now.

You could always try DX:IW... you'll get to know more about the Omar then.

Okay... okay.
Hope you meet the Omar soon though... please be nice to them; they are not aggressive unless acting in self-defense.

Well I finally took the plunge and bought a new book albeit not the one I wanted –so instead of Glen Cook’s black company I was left with the literary styling’s of Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn: The final empire of which I hear nothing but good things...and at 647 pages I could club a horse to death with it or my mortal enemy.

Aye. I just bought a new book myself: Feynman's QED; the strange theory of light and matter. I may not be able to club people with it (it weighs in at only around 150 pages), but I sure can sound like an ass-hat at parties when I finish reading.

I'm reading Terry Goodkind's Wizard's First Rule right now.

It's pretty good.

-~::Edit::~-
Also reading Misty Massey's Mad Kestrel. It's a fantasy novel about magic and pirates. Only finding time for it while in the bathroom. It's readable, but she has a lot to learn about the craft of writing. ...or so I say, full of pretentiousness.

Sorry to say it Pinky but I have never heard anything good about Terry Goodkind's work especially any of his later sword of truth books which TV tropes tells me goes into outright author tract, chickens that were not chickens but evil incarnate and weird BDSM and bestiality.

It's actually from 2007 - Peacemaker. I looked up some of his other books and they're either very hard to find (even on amazon.ca) or they're taking places in universes I don't have any interest in.

Now, Doctor Who on the other hand... I loved the Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones.

I just started Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski (the translation not the polish version) to get some background before I replay The Witcher 2 with all the nifty new content. So far it's pretty entertaining.

There are definitely facets of this book which are tired and not very inventive. But overall I'm enjoying the characters.

I would not say the book is great, though. Just pretty good.

What what what what WHAT? Where did you here this? The mid-credits sequence we got over here was awesome enough, my mind boggles to imagine what the second one could be...

[EDIT] Ahh, just found out what it is. Nothing particularly significant. Don't feel like I'm missing out...but I'm still going to see it again anyway.

Why is that? You have certain members on your ignore-list and you wish you didn't read what they have to say?

They don't even have a schedule up for anything. That just bugs me.

So much for trying to go down there and meet some people that I've talked to ingame/on forums...
