I am so sorry for the wait.... AGAIN!
I have been SO busy that I simply have had no spare time...
I am starting 2 years at college on Monday, and it has LOTS of home study! This withers my spare time to weekends at the most...
I really don't want to cancel this project and I really want it to go through.
But, unless people could help with some levels or whatever, I will have to cancel.
I haven't even started Venice yet and the boat can't be used! The cutscene Driber tried to finish for me is unknown...
I am an experienced builder, but the task is too big to do alone....
So please, anyone who is reading this, If you want to join my ''team'' say so and full credit will go to you guys...

Oh yeah, like I said I REALLY DON'T WANT TO CANCEL THIS!!!
So many highly anticipated adventured are canned, like the Early Legend Remake and the TR3 Remake that I was so loking forward too!!!!
This is how people lose respect, and I don't want this to happen to my project too *sniff* SO PLEASE.......

Well, my advice would be to finish what you can and release what you have as your own personal homage to Tomb Raider II. Maybe after the two years break you'll come back and finish off the rest of the levels, who knows?

OK. What I'll do is finish the whole game SLOWLY in my spare time.
The process could be slow but at least it will be finished in the 2 years!!! OR LESS!!!

GREAT! Sure you can help. What are you best at on TRLE? Object making?
Or level building? It's good to have some help finally!

I can do a little of both, I am not an expert but I do have a bit of experience.
I am not sure how much I would be able to contribute to the project as my spare time is limited, but I am willing to try and help as much as I can possibly can

You can do whatever you want to do, except you need my Lara object and I have already done the GREAT WALL level. Tell me first though...

Burt ie? you haven't answered to my emails? Why??!
If you won't help me then I will cancel, I don't want to but I actually have a life not wrapped around TRLE...
I don't have time to wait over things like this and trying to do a whole game by myself is near impossible.. it could take years!!!
If ou do not reply to this message then i am sorry, but i will have to abandon the project that i REALLY wanted to see through...

THAT IS UNLESS ANYONE ELSE IN INTERESTED IN HELPING ME..

Maybe, but it has some flaunts, like the keys say load..etc.
It is a shame, as I don't really want to cancel but what choice do I have?? *sign*
TR2 gold is a fab game and I will have cutscenes to link levels too...

That can be easily fixed with some quick scripting.

No reason not to release the first level as your own personal homage to TR2's 10th year, unless you really don't want to.

Sorry I didn't reply but I have been extremely busy at the moment, I did warn you about that before I asked if I could help out. I still have your email and was planning on getting back to you soon but what do you mean I STOLE my anims?? I HAVE NOT STOLEN anything....I have not worked on anything TRLE related for 4-5 months and have not released any levels for 3 or more years so how you can accuse me of stealing things from you I have NO idea and quite honestly I am shocked and offended

Wink

Ok, I have played the GW level as I promised. Here are my findings:

- the crows - they nearly killed me!!! please make them weaker
- T-REX - there´s a bug because once you encountered them and hide yourself they´ll come after you, blocking you the way out and eventually kill you!!!
- music - I think the original backround mountain music with wind was much better
- Lara - her model is fine but her braid is a bit short

In total, it was a very good remake level - just fix those things please

Welcome shikei!

There is still a TR2 remake in development, made by some other people that is. Progress is very slow since it is quite a task to remake that entire game, but who knows! It might be released one day.

Won't be any time soon though.
We may have to wait another 5 years.

If it ever gets finished...

This thread was made in 2007 and dcw123 hasn't posted any updates since October 2007...
