Not sure if this has been discussed before, but this looks so much like an outdoor TR setting... except it's real! It gives me vertigo just watching it:

That looks really cool, though. I love how the guy tried to make a smooth cinematic experience of it, cross-fading the bits were he unhooks and attaches himself to the next parts of the safety line

Would be awesome if we would see that kind of camera work in TR9 when climbing!

that cannot be a safe way to travel and is it even meant to be travelled?

Edit: oh dear, i just went on youtube to see who this guy is, and saw comments about him missing/death, googled it and apparently this guy is believed to have died on may10/11th from a base jump, not sure if true or not but alot of links suggest the same thing

nice. did something similar in switzerland with my father. but not like that as you see here, but still had to hold my self on a robe on the wall as you see at the beginning.
would like to try this one as well. interesting to watch as well.

It's in Spain. Actually, the trail is closed to the public because it's too dangerous (duh), and several people have fallen to their deaths. But dare-devils continue to sneak onto it anyway. There are plans to restore the trail eventually, but I imagine that will take a lot of the thrill out of it.

Well, climbing these kinds of rocks while being secured to a safety line is one thing.....but base jumping is something completely different.

It's no surprise if he was killed then (no disrespect) because base jumping is just about the most dangerous recreational activity you can do
