That's not true, given the drawings on your DeviantArt account. You're much better than you're letting on, but it's ok. You just want everyone to pay attention to your cosplay and photography goodness (which, isn't a bad thing

). Haha.

And Jenn, fantastic pics again. The photographer really showcased your physicality in those shots.

Hi, folks,

Well, here is my first real go at making a Lara model. I've done fanarts before, years ago, but I can't find them (just need to find which hard drive they're on...LOL) ....or I'd have posted them here.

But, given that slight limitation, I decided to take a real go at making my own CG Lara. It's not XNA Lara, that's for sure, because what I've done, I've done in iClone.

I had to download and purchase some extra content (clothing meshes, generational body types, etc), and so far the result seems well worth the cost.

She's by no means finished yet. She still doesn't have her weapons, her back pack, or even her ponytail....but I think this is a good start. For her gunbelts and holsters, I used some props I'd fashioned for my Battlestar Galactica characters, and put them on her. I think the effect turned out alright.

Also added a slight wetlook effect to her, since she's in an element that she used to spend a lot of time in....water.

I used Lara art found around the net to generate her face, but I could easily put anyone's face I want to on her....including the faces of some we've quipped about in the polls before. (Earlier, I had Natalie Portman's likeness on her....and she didn't look too bad....not bad at all.)

And the nice thing is, when I finish her....I can animate her.

Well....enough o' my yakkin'.....here's my GG Lara, work in progress.

Oh....ha ha....and here's a Lara fan art I'd made sometime back, using PhotoShop, and trying to get used to a WACOM tablet....Lara Croft and Revy Two-Hand (from the anime Black Lagoon)....mud-wrestling. MUA HA HA! (admittedly, 'tis not a very good job I did

)
