Hey guys, how you doin'?
![]() I've been a member here for quite some time,and at first i was very active,but then i was so frustrated at my computer for being so laggy and buggy that i gave up on level editing and thus abandoned the forums ![]() So just wanted to appologize to LaraCroftCrazy for not helping on the Resident Evil project and want to say that even tough i'll have to study for the final exams (11th grade exams ) i will be level editing from now on and will give high priority to our project!!Oh and in case you're wondering,our project is based on Resident Evil 2 and Code:Veronica,and of course the main character will be Claire ![]() It's still too soon to start a thread on the project since i'm a little rusty at level editing but i will post a thread as soon as i have something to show,so stay tuned

I don't know if there's a thread like this here but over at RF is a thread with a list of people who do voice-over jobs for levelbuilders.
If you check their profiles there might be an email you can contact them at. If there's nobody aroudn here who does voice-overs that is. ![]() Hihihi! Everybody is a moderator today!

I've no idea what this Ashford character sounds like but Adammbommb can pull off a whole range of unique voices.
Combine that with some audio editing and you could get something similar. ![]() Btw, what's your username on TRF? It isn't dontnou3, is it?

I'm also using the same username everywhere.
It's easy to remember this way. You can't change your username at TRF unless you make a new account but double accounts are not allowed there.

You can have your username changed here if you'd like. Just send me a PM with your desired name and I'll change it for you. Remember to use that new name to log in next time then.
YT embedding works just fine here. I just fixed it in your post, check it out. We have smaller avatars here because we use top-bottom layout and having large avatars would screw up the layout too much. TRF uses left-right layout, allowing for more avatar space. Here we allow signature images, though. And that's actually much more space for your creative freedom than just having a big avatar ![]() It's good that you're taking the time to work through the manual, hehe. It's a lot of reading, but it pays off in the end!

![]() The manual is indeed a good way to start. Meta2TR is not a must to get a good level. It is also about gameplay and atmosphere. But when done right, it can enhance the graphics of a level. It takes a lot of time though. I used Meta2TR on Mists of Avalon after the levels were finished in the editor and it took me about 9 months to get all the Meta2TR work done on those levels.

TREP and TRNG are not compatible and I don't think they ever will be.
They don't need to be either imo. Lots of TREP stuff is already possible in TRNG and the TRNG options are more advanced with more customisation possibilities. (Having said that... TREP is easier to use because in TRNG you need to use quite a bit of scripting to things working. A lot of builders are set back because of this.) As for the uzi's and sixshooter not showing in Lara's holsters: that TR4 bug is fixed in TRNG. Nothing you have to do, it's a standard built-in fix. Added explosion sound? I don't even know what you mean by this but what if you replace the explosion sample with a silent version if you want to get rid of it?

Are you sure you have the proper LARA_HOLSTERS_UZIS and LARA_HOLSTERS_SIXSHOOTER objects in your wad?
nd with "proper" I mean that the meshes have the uzis and the sixshooter in the holster. Because the bug sure is fixed in TRNG. So it can't be because of TRNG that those weapons still don't show up in their holsters. Hmmm... I like the uzi's better without the add-on explosion. It's as if the explosion effect isn't synchronized very well... Well, you could still replace the explosion sample with a silent sample and then put an explosion sound in the audio folder and trigger that when needed.
