I'm trying to stop thinking deeply about AOD, it just makes my head hurt. >_>
Trying to put the pieces together seems impossible.
Is there anyone alive who knows everything about the true AOD and how everything was planned?

Angels of Darkness wasn't bad at all. I wonder sometimes how it could get a 57% review(PC) from metacritic! It surely has the best Tomb Raider story so far. I read somewhere during AoD release that Core Design was planned the AoD trilogy from a book. Its so bad that it couldn't see the light.

well, AoD was very buggy and had terrible controls. and it dint even had M&K support which is always bad. i coulndt finish the game. it was just bad to play. good thing the game was included with the sound card i bought, so i dint lose any money.

i still remember how someone from core design came to a german live show called "giga games" and was proudly presenting this game.
he was surprised that the moderators and the viewers, who were sending comments, dint show the same excitement as he did.

lol, we went over this many times; AOD was crap on PC, but well playable on PS2.

Those who say they liked AOD most likely played it on PS2.

As for M&K controls; that's just you being spoiled

AOD isn't bad, it was just... broken, chopped, slaughtered.
But it was still a good game.

i know that. thats why i could never play the others because of that. just playing the demos was bad enough.
and for that time, we had many games were you could use M&K. i never could understand why they never did it for TR.
even this german show they have asked the guy why there is no M&K support for AOD and his reply was, they dont see a reason to change that.

I play TR on consoles so I've never used K&M and I can play the games perfectly fine.

Oh, and I loved AOD on PC because the graphics were better there... also the TRAOD SCU was amazing!

Controlling Lara with the Keyboard and moving the camera / direction with the Mouse.

Who cares about moving the camera with the mouse?
Most of us are used to play without it.
Like in the classics.
I loved the controls so much!
Now they're so different, but decent.
I like playing with Lara and have this weight feeling, not sliding around like most of the games these days.
