Please help me

First of all I just got this game yesterday. So here is the problem. I start the game. I select start new game. Then the game starts with this movie thing. While I am watching that it glitches like one bit at a time. If someone is a computer geniuss out there that would be really helpful. I hope I didn't waste money. Please help guys.
