I'm just going to post my first impressions here because they releate heavily to topic:

The game has been really good, but especially one thing made me wow. This might be sort of a spoiler to someone:

I didn't think Rocksteady&Dini got the guts to kill big characters but they did (And I really hope they stay dead (Well ok I can see either having Ra's return or Ra's sacrificing himself to save Talia, because I doubt it was the only Lazarus pit, as a good plot device for next game, but J and H should stay dead, plus I wonder what happened to the big C after falling in the pit). On one hand it makes me wonder if there will even be a sequel (I know it's early but who wouldn't want one) but on the other hand that makes me hope there will be one because I want to see more of this drama instead of same endless circle repeating over and over with no one exiting the stage. Besides there are still plenty of big characters left (to kill too). The row of deaths at the end of game was one of the most epic moment I've seen in games

My personal first impression how next game could play out is that someone manages to unite the criminals and push for revenge in Gotham because of how they were treated and believe that the real Gotham town hall management ordered it all. Basically making it Batmanfamily vs Everyone with civilians in the middle of it, no major tug wars between villains. A real Gotham Crisis

There's also the question about how to improve. Because frankly I don't see much room for improvement, like many others agree. After AA we had millions of ideas on how to improve. This time the next inevitable step is having entire Gotham available, usable Batvehicles and Co-op. Those are major logical things that could make the possible 3rd game fresh. Just adding something small like shark repellent spray and new very small restricted area somewhere else in city for Batman 3 isn't going to cut it. But if we go even futher to Batman 4 I don't really see it working unless it introduces Superman and other DC universes

I heard some rumors about campaign DLC being option (by god I hope it means story DLC and not more Riddler campaigns). I'd easily welcome it because as crowded as Arkham City is I can't help but wonder where are Killer Moth, Firefly and many other villains. Are they not in Arkham or are they just sitting somewhere inside sipping tea? Would be cool if some villains crawled out of their hideouts to try to conquer the broken Arkham ruins as DLC that can be played both during main storyline and after it. I named 2 flying villains as examples because I think it would be fun if there were some agile and fast villains too. Villains that can ruthlessly hunt down Batman

But all in all amazing game and I'm only a tad over 50% complete. If this was Arkham Asylum I would be 100% already.

What about doing some expansion DVDs for BAC!?

Example: each "expansion DVD" you have a story of a different Super hero with batman!?

since you have soo many super heros and super villens there can be lots of game storys!!!
