Crossfire + Eyefinity = HUD not centered
Two XFX 6870 in crossfire. As title says, Crossfire + Eyefinity results in the HUD not being centered on the middle monitor, it spreads the HUD out to the left and right monitors. Disabling crossfire makes the HUD center on the middle monitor as intended.
So uh... how about programming it so any resolution greater than 5000x1080 is automatically assumed to be Eyefinity? This should apply for all games. I don't know of any case where, even if there was a single huge widescreen monitor, you wouldn't want the HUD in the center so you can play the game proper.
I don't want to muck around with driver versions trying to fix this as I have my driver version perfect for Battlefield 3. So is there a setting in a file somewhere that can be changed to force the resolutions to be the Eyefinity versions, so that the HUD will center?
Right now I'm having to disable Crossfire before I play DX:HR, and I also take a performance dive and can't enjoy the higher graphic settings in the game.
Anyone with expertise on this? Thanks for your time.
