No probs, indeed it is.
As for the theme, well even though some are able to do it i think it's normal that we can't.. A quick google search will show that it's not usually possible to change the logon sound without some tweaking. USUALLY.. And apparently in our cases. |

Yea, I think we just got unlucky.
With the Denton Font file, Right Click it then press "Install", after that, you can delete the file, it's installed on your PC, then, just put Denton behind the "FontName=" |

I've installed it, placed "Denton" where needed and still nothing :\ I'll keep trying. Not sure what to try though.
EDIT: The font has come up on most of the widgets now Google, Recycle Bin, Enhanced Clock and Disc still need tinkering with.

I had a HUGE problem with the font. I installed it and everything and refreshed all the skins and nothing changed. What finally solved the issue was to go into the rainmeter control panel and restart the program. I'm sure shutting it down and starting up again would work as well but that's what finally worked.

hey I just changed the "log off session" sound of windows to a 165ko .wav file and it works. So...regarding the "deux ex theme song" file.. it might be because it is too big or it is not really a .wav file. :l

Charadesmith: 165ko (kilo octet) is the size of the .wav file i tried.
Okay now, I succeed to play a 3,87 Mo (Mega octet.. Megabyte is the same) as the "log in session" sound.. Apparently, you can't use a wave file with a size that exceeds 4 Mo/Mb... :l I have windows 7, x64, but my laptop had Vista as its operating system before... maybe that explains something... |

Joe Crow: To have the Denton font on those windows, you'll have to open their .ini files and look for "fontName=".
& You'll have to write it like this: "fontName=Denton" As for the media player with the volume control, the media player doesn't show because you don't have "Winamp" or "KMPlayer". It only works when you have one of these programs currently playing. |

This program looks great! Does it function with eyefinity?
I'm using 5760x1080 resolution and its hard enough to find desktop backgrounds for it, any suggestions on images i could use to compliment the change, or do you think i would need to edit pictures to mesh well with the resolution size? |

What can i use to cut a portion of an audio file? I installed Live Movie maker thinking that it lets you (the old one did) but it doesn't support audio files. The hell...

I downloaded Audacity 1.3 Beta to do so.. I've no idea if it's good or not, but it does the job we want.
Here it is. You'll have to open the file, then select the part that you want to keep & then "Export" it as another wave file. Make sure it's not too big. And if you knew how it basically worked, then nevermind (: |

just an idea, but it would be really cool if someone made a custom cursor to go along with this whole set up.

Okay, this is how you get Rainmeter up and working (keep in mind if you want it to be a specific way, you'll have to tinker with it, of course, if you don't want to, many people in this Thread will be happy to give your their .ini files).
Download Deus Rice pack (http://www.mediafire.com/?5r94krrk3ud7q5d), extract it, inside Copy "Rainmeter rubbish" then Paste it into C:\Users\The77's\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins (That's mine, yours will be different). Then, Right-click Rainmeter in your Taskbar, go to Configs, a drop down menu will appear, go to "Rainmeter rubbish", another drop down menu will appear, then choose what Applications you want to display on your Desktop. If you need any more help, or didn't understand anything, just say. EDIT: Final Desktop (I think) ![]() My .ini settings: http://www.mediafire.com/?vqyd7z0dxjb5vzq Last edited by The77s; 08-10-2011 at 02:10 PM. |
