Talking Phase one of RPG: Auditions and Rules...

(Sorry for the lateness, I needed an extra day to get something done.)

Well, greetings fellow Forumites. Welcome to the first annual TombRaider/StarTopia RPG auditions. Yes, auditions. Because we are afraid many people will try to be Lara Croft or one of her side-kicks co-stars, we must first have people audition for several parts. I know nothing, about Tomb Raider (Except for having watch the movie, of course), so bear with me. To prevent people from not being able to play the RPG, we must ask that you pick five characters you want to be from the series and audition by the following rules...
____________________________________________________

Ahem, now that we got taken care of, here is how an RPG works. An RPG is basicly an advanced form of interactive Fan-Fiction, with a few exceptions of course. First of all, since you (And us) will be controlling individual people and not whole star-fleets with awesome fire power or huge space-stations with many an E.T., you can only post your actions. Here's an example, you can do this-

Dr. Nick: "Hi Everybody!"

-But you cannot this-

Dr. Nick: "Hi Everybody!"

Crowd: "Hi Dr. Nick!"

-That is a no-no. Only the Game-Master (GM for short, and it consists of me and Arctic_Wolf right now) can post an NPC's (Non-Player Character) reaction. But what happens, for instance, if two players are fighting one another? You post your actions, and we post who gets the black eye. Got it? Excellent than, and there are a few more rules we must explain. First of all, you may not flame or insult a person unless it appropriately adds to the plot. Second of all, you actions must be some-what realistic for a Sci-Fi adventure setting. You can not kill other players as well. And you cannot attempt to perform amazing feats of strength and illogic-ness. Not even Lara Croft is god-like enough to kill a Skrasher with one shot of her pistol. And like we said, you can only control your character.

Now for your favorite part: Auditions. We will not rate people on their grammar (If they have Microsoft Word/Proccesor), only on their imagination, performance, and of the like. Although you may not get the character you want, we cannot prevent you from playing. But, as we all understand, not all of us can shoot a gun as well as some people can whilst dodging lasers. The rules for this part are simple. You simply reply (While obeying the rules) to the following post (And in third person please):

<And there Lara was, faced with one of her most frightening enemies yet, a seven foot tall musculine behemoth with steel laquer-armour, and a huge No-Dachi slung across his shoulder with his large right hand holding it steady like it was just a knife. This would've been easy, although then again, she dropped her two pistols near the exit. Which was to say, sixty feet to her left. There wasn't much in the training dojo either. The giant samurai was in front of what seemed to be Naginatas hanging on the wall. To the right, there was a pillar as well. And to the left, there was a few training dummies. While she thought about her battle plan, the giant took a mammoth step forward. He slowly lifted the sword up with both of his hand handing it, and was prepared to slash her. Lara had better think fast, or end up with her head on the Shogun's platter...>
