Arrow Let's all go on down to McDonald's....

.....and get some Freedom Fries along with some Freedom toast.

I think that has to be the most ridiculous (but humorous in it's own way too) thing I've ever heard! Who's ever heard of changing the name of a food, just because it happens to have a connection to a country that isn't backing your country's decision to go to war? Can we say childish?

I seriously wanted to go and thwack someone about the head when I read that . Honestly. I mean, good god, what kind of sad world are we living in? Are the states going to re-phrase the pledge to say "One english nation, under god ... etc."? When will the French bashing insanity end?!

Oh, I guess you haven't heard this debate either in the US. The Pledge of Allegiance is about to go before the Supreme Court to determine whether the words "Under God" are unconstitutional.

What is our world coming to when people have to complain about every single thing in the world, until the goverment listens to them and changes something that upsets the rest of the country. People take their rights under the Constitution to an extreme and it sickens me....

Kind of like changing French Fries to And french toast to Freedom Fries and Freedom toast. So, are they going to be called Freedom Braids, Freedom Cuffs, Freedom Kissing, and who knows what other 'Freedom' things there are going to me. It's so ridiculous it starts to make me laugh.

Who's up for some Freedom Fries?!?! lol

I'm closing this one before it gets nasty. In the future, please try to avoid political discussions. I agree that this topic would make for an interesting conversation, but this is not the place for it.
