Glyph Explanation
Remember the glyphs from SR1? Well, I recall official sources stating the glyphs were not present in the sequels because they weren't plot related. That explanation never sat well with me, so I came up with my own.
If you remember, the glyphs looked like stone discs. Well, what if Raziel "receiving" them didn't necessarily mean he was carrying the glyph itself with him. I like to think that he just becomes synchronized with it in a way. The cutscene of the glyph going into Raziel's body could just be metaphorical.
Such a scenario would explain the glyphs' supposed absence in the sequels. They all take place before the events of SR1. So, Raziel could not call on the glyphs' powers because they are not attuned to him yet, or they may not even exist yet. This would be a perfectly viable explanation for the situation. Just shrugging the glyph shrines off as non-canon doesn't seem right. They made up a HUGE part of the SR1's content and are arguably some of the most memorable areas of the game.
