never said that i see only bad things. I just tend not to overhype myself with good things (I already see how those who look at those CG trailers and said wow how cool it looks, will be disappointed that graphics actually isn 't like in those CG trailers and there is a lot of people who can't understand that those are CG trailers and not actually ingame). Well i was one of those who really was hyped that the second game is in development. I followed every step of it and actually experienced almost the same situation in forums as it is now (someone criticizes every developers move, someone assures everyone that everything is alright, someone was just optimist (that was me)) but we all know what happened when the game came out. I really hope that will not gonna happen anymore because most likely this forum will be closed faster than i can say F**k this s**t here. That's why after that *****storm i tend not to hype anymore about any game and always try to see better all the wrongs before i start to see the better part of the game. That way disappointment isn't that large when game actually comes out and you start to play.

the only thing that i like in DX:HR is the unique dystopian, grimmy, gloomy, dark portrait of the world of tomorrow.

i find Human Revolution's atmosphere the best i've ever seen in a videogame.

and except from it i like that developers paid so much attention to depict what cyberpunk fiction has to offer.

I was being facetious. Every time we talk about some or another design mechanic or feature in a somewhat cynical or skeptical manner, someone always comes along to tell us we should wait and that we are just speculating.

I just thought it was fun to reverse the roles.

Nah, I already know what I'm going to have to do to enjoy the game... and that's somehow make myself look at it as NOT a Deus Ex game. Or better yet forget Deus Ex completely.

For me, Deus Ex is the pinnacle of gaming, so awesome whenever I play it I get sucked in for three hours and then have to force myself to take a break before I explode of awesomeness.

It's definitely shaping up to be a good game... but any game based on the pure awesomeness that is Deus Ex has to be good right... right? Lol. No, I suppose not.

But, while comfortable in uncertainty, I'm hoping that the game captures what made Deus Ex so great, and though maybe very different, a whole new type of pure awesomeness different.

So that, for each decade, one may see a Deus Ex title leading off in the most perfect unattainable best game ever status.

Plus, it keeps devs on their toes. Once the game is out, we'll give credit where it's due. Right, now cool skepticism or moderate pessimism are the best approaches.
That is pure conjecture for the sake of arguing.

Holds about as much weight as the OP.

By the way OP, look before you leap.
