How To: Longest Tether Exploit

In this video, I demonstrate how to create a tether that is twice the length of what most JC2 players think is the longest tether ;-) This is less of a glitch, more of an exploit.

I can't fit any more links in my sig, waah! P.S. Maybe you could put the full names of all your glitches in your sig, not just the abbreviations?
I, and I think a lot of new people will too, got confused over which was which. Putting the full names won't make your sig that big, also.

EDIT: Oops, while I was writing this you posted about just about that!

Guess I'll have to, no other choice.. the BB code is included in the sig character code, so 300 characters gets filled up pretty quickly! Just gonna add Longest Tether to the Easter Eggs sticky now, then I'll amalgamate them all into a new thread

It's amazing - did you know you're entitled to do things like that when you make your own thread and invest loads of your own time developing cool things that many other people can get a lot of joy from? I'm glad I'm not one of those people who posts about 5 times a month, and then only to complain.

But yes, this is a very interesting glitch. Oh, and you're one of the few people with a British accent that speaks in a way I can understand. Most people I hear are little whiny sounding kids or people with such a heavy accent and use of local slang that I can't make heads or tails of what they said. lol

If you want, I can create a separate section just for these glitches in the Game Guide thread. It will then get its own link in the menu at the top.

As for these threads: yes, one thread combining all your glitches would be better. You can then name them all in your sig and have 1 single link to them. Those abbreviations you have there right now are quite obscure

Yeah good idea Driber, also KD don't underestimate the EA thread it has almost 80k views and is the second most viewed thread in the forum,plus it's stickied at other forums as well

I do need to get back in and clean it up a little, I'd like to put all the weapon vids and coords in the same "weapon" link , I think it would help

You could have a section titled "Komodo Dave's Glitches of Awesomeness" or something like Driber recommended and put the link to your interview with MCM to give your glitches more of a precedence.

You're right that it has a lot of views, certainly, German. I'm just not sure how many people wade through the entire first post.

lol, yes - though I think I'll choose a more humble title But for sure, I'll accumulate all my glitches into a single thread when I'm back from my holiday in a couple of days, and thereafter will add new glitches to the first post of that thread. I was hoping to collect them into one thread before I left for my holiday, but didn't have time in the end. I'll have a few days off when I get back home in 28 hours or so, and will do it then.

They've put my Loose Door Tether video in a new post on justcause.com as well, so I'll link to both that and the interview - good suggestion bud
