thanks, im just tryin 2 help out. anyway, i got interested in this glitch so i did some basic calculation stuff . it seems that the plant disappearing doesnt have anything to do with when the grapple cuts off. i blew one up and timed it with my phone stopwatch and it took about 3.4 seconds for it to completely disappear, leaves and all, but you continue zipping along for a longer time. thats what i found but you should probably check or somthin, idk? ill look into it some more!

Second time I did this it froze on me XD

btw, kd, the game will also freeze if there is something in the way that Rico cant move around. i figured this out by doing the plant-surf again, but this time i hit a small group of tiny rocks, but Rico couldnt get around or over them, so he sat there for a second, then the game froze

Thanks for that info - I've not experienced that before. Usually when you hit something you can't go around, Rico will just stop surfing and you continue play as normal.
