The game isn't out yet.
None of us know the story.
None of us have "been" the character.
Therefore we cannot answer your question of "does DX3 draw you in"

It's true, there's no way to know this for sure.

However, it does sound like there are deeply personal motivations for Jensen that drive him through these layers of obfuscation and conspiracy.

It will be interesting to see if they can keep it engaging on a personal level the whole way through.

Other than the "Yeah, I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO badass" voice, the dialogue and model seem pretty good, yeah.

I would imagine the people who hate the hybrid-perspective and the regenerative health would get more sucked into the story than the others. Because it appears a large part of AJ's arc is lack of choice.

Yeah, only being able to talk several people into getting thru that Hive level~ or shooting up the place~ or investigating the scene for a passcode~ sneaking around~ or taking everyone out~ These are like, you're only choices in that level :/

I would of thought they'd at least have 256 more options. Perhaps a ninja strike from a helicopter. At least.

Interesting number you pulled there. I remember when my Riva 128 was dying on me, I had to play Tomb Raider at 256 colours. ...it looked awful.

I remember when 256 colors was the standard for games, and Millions+ was just coming into regular use for normal apps.

hehe, yeah~ I picked that number cuz I kinda like my 'puters. 256 is the number of values you get in each color channel in the RGB scale. That is, 0 to 255 on Red, the same on Blue and the same on Green.
