Installation Issue - dissapointing

Hi,

Bought Just Cause 2 today from EB Games (Australia) and I'm running Vista SP1, 32 bit.

SPECS:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
8800GT 512mb
4GB RAM (3GB used due to 32-bit)
Latest DX / drivers installed.

Whenever I try to install the game, it loads "windows C+ distributable", then the generic Microsoft error comes up "DirectX setup has stopped working". I can install the DirectX package straight from the disc, but it does not install from the actual setup.exe. After the error message, the install cancels saying "Failed to run install script"

This is deeply annoying, any help?
