Default Chevalier Ice Breaker now available on PC

Game just auto-updated, car is now available via black market (cost: 25.000); not sure if it is driving around as well.

I personally like this car despite its... strange appearance. Decent speed, great armor, and how I love that ramming power! Gets rid of all them nasty slow pokes on the road!

Just one question, who's decision was it to install without giving the user an option?, don't get me wrong, I have no problem with free, but I also prefer a [yes/no] dialogue.

Does it matter? If you don't buy it from the Black Market, it doesn't appear in-game. Thus, the burden of actually adding the DLC to the game is still on you.

Besides.

Ice Cream Truck.

How is this different from the ice cream truck already in the game? Just the front fender?

It still takes up disk drive space with something you may not want.

Yeah they should probably ask you about those 20kb. I mean, it's taking up good notepad document space.

I would not expect everyone to understand that a lot of small files can affect disk performance, but that's not really the point, "We're just gonna install this piece of software on YOUR computer, choice?, sorry we are not going to give you a choice"; but hey, if you do not have a problem with software companies suddenly deciding they want to dump their stuff on YOUR computer, then who am I to argue.

Steam handles all updates like this. If you do not like auto-updates then rightclick the game in your Steam library, go to Properties => Updates and change the setting to "Do not automatically update this game"

But it's much more fun to act outraged, huh?

Not outraged at all, just an observation, thank you for the information btw, it was something I was unaware of.

i hope we get more vehicles like this. It will really show that Avalanche is not money hungry and just cares about making a good game.

It's "Q". Same as the sirens and horns. If your sound setup is a little wonky like mine is with headphones, you might not be able to hear it that well.

Think about it. You think they'd update -ONLY- to add a single vehicle to the black market? I doubt that, seriously. They more than likely just threw that in there as part of the update. Probably fixed some other issues, and for all we know, possibly added other things along with that ice cream truck.

On that note; Just read Steams latest update news for JC2, said that they updated, and along with the update, -included- free DLC. Doesn't say what all they updated anywhere, but, its what it says.

Updates to Just Cause 2 have been released, including new, free DLC. The game now includes a free 'Chevalier Ice Breaker,' featuring a sturdy front ram, side skirts and greater top speed. With this ice cream truck, you have the perfect tool for causing some serious fender-benders. Better yet, it also includes a jingle to match.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
Regardless of the space, be happy they updated.
