Demo E_FAIL error

I downloaded and installed the JC2 Demo without problems but when I launch the game it gives me an E_FAIL error. Can anyone help me?

I had this error because of my IZ3D (stereoscopic) monitor driver injection. However, I think any 3D driver injection may cause this. Try disable Steam Ingame Community, XFire Ingame, or other drivers/programs that can do a visual overlay in DirectX while ingame (Logitech G13/G15 drivers for instance).

Each of those programs have an option to turn off driver injection ONLY for certain programs, so if you find out which one caused it by disabling them one by one and trying to start the game, you can search in the settings of that program how to disable it for Just Cause 2 only.
