stuck in ghana

hi everyone
my problem is that lara won't hold onto a pole in the part outside the temple. there is a second rock falling on top of lara so I need to jump quickly on the right to grab a pole. she grabs it but there is a yellow hand indicated she does not hold very well. any idea how to make her grab that pole properly??
I have tried at least 30 times!!
