Default Strange Resemblance - Baddie to Statue

Check this out...remember the serpent in Legend? In Underworld (can't remember the level name) one of the statues looked very similar. I'm thinking they probably re-used the mesh.

And another...

I think the ones in Underworld symbolize the Midgard Serpent though...

As do I and the one in TRL was more of a dragon creature not a serpant, hence the name Pendragon.

It looked more like bird if you ask me, a mutated version of Big Bird.

Open it up! I'm not saying there's anything wrong with re-using things/similarities..just wanted to point it out!

Interesting find...I do agree with TRA_Abomination and Love2Raid that it has to do with the midgard serpent though.

They are both serpent either way. So they have to look similar in lots of ways somehow. A cat can never look too different from a lion.

I guess the design in TRU was "inspired" from a past game? After all, sometimes CD gets ideas from their previous games, such as those reddish lights in Helheim that really look like the orange lights in the Great Pyramid in Anniversary...

I agree, one thing that made me aware that Helheim was another remnant of Atlantis was the similarities in architectural style between it and the great pyramid from TRA.

And another...

It was revealed before release that TRU would continue Legend's storyline. So yes, it's possible they were intentionally done that way.
