Cannot get out of windowed mode?

This game crashed once on me and now it loads up in a window. I can maximize it but it still always windowed. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Run the game. Click on settings and make sure Full Screen mode says No.

try Alt-Enter, the general keyboard shortcut for fullscreen

I can no longer get into my settings menu because I am getting a direct 3d error when I try to look at it through the launcer. Ever since I did the last Nvidia driver update. I will try the "alt-enter" thing when I get home.
