Default So I'm guessing who the next playable character is going to be.

He did that quite a bit on the 2nd and 3rd ones for me, I thought the same thing! Personally i would love to have a young adult bruce wayne combat challange when he is getting trained!!!! Similar to the Batman Begins game!

There are no plans for anymore characters to be playable besides Batman and Joker according to Keir. But he would be the easiest to pull off.

So, what will be the new DLC be? Hopefully not maps since we have quite enough of those. I know I read a thread where one of the mods did hint "him" being a possibility as a downloadable playable character.

I want more maps though Just outside of Arkham with iconic characters and iconic scenery. Like the Crime Alley map. But I get where your going, they already have the movement for him down so it would be easy to go on from there with his own moves, gadgets, ect. I wouldn't rule him out. I think Eidos figures, if they release 8 Scarecrow challenge maps for $5, they could be rollin' in the dough.

Would be fun to beable to go around the asylum with every batman character in cell, then he go in and inject them and have a 2 min vid about their greatest fear!

Nah, I think just a melee gadget using his freddy hand would be cool. Inject it in, watch them scream, have other guards come in, then of course there would be some friendly fire. Think it's safe to say that would be considered a one-time use per map gadget. Now that pouch of Fear Dust or whatever could work too. Lots of screaming and yelling...like that party in 95'

I could see him in predator maps but definately not combat. Plus I can think of some awesome things about playing as him.

First: Scaring your opponents would cause them to scream attracting attention but if you inject the thug he could hallucinate and attack his friends. That would be fun to watch.

Second: You could see a thug literally be paralyzed with fear so much so they pass out.

I think the new DLC will just be more Challenge Modes with differnet maps and differnet achievements. I'd love to play as a new character though (Scarecrow, maybe Joker) I'd even play as Harley Quinn.

Croc would be a fun character to play as, but you would really need a large map to play in. Maybe like the area where Bane was.

I'd prefer it if they didn't just slap a new skin on batman, but made the character feel different (They did a good job of that with the Joker to be honest )

I'd Like too play scarecrow, I have a lot of Doubts that it would happen but I would definitely pay for a few playable Scarecrow challenge maps.

Someone said earlier that scarecrow wouldnt really work in a freeflow map, but isnt Crane an expert in "violent dancing" and "drunken fist" style combat? That would be awesome!
The feargas mechanic would also be awesome to implement aswell....PLEASE MAKE SCARECROW DLC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (yes if your wondering scarecrow is my fav batman character beside bats himself lol!)

Perhaps researching things... He was either a doctor or teacher at one point... As for in-game, I have no idea how it'd work...

I came up with a few ideas in another thread about how Scarecrow could work. I'll post them here along with some new ones.

Predator Gameplay:
* Since Joker's rooms end so quickly in just two or three attacks, I thought it would be cool for Scarecrow's to be more drawn out, with more lethal attacks but more enemies to deal with.
- Finger needle stab: One hit take down. Victim thrashes violently in fear for a few minutes before dying of a heart attack. Draws attention quickly. Works like a Silent Takedown from behind.
- Concentrated gas spray: A lethal spray of gas to the victim's face. Leaves victim thrashing violently for a moment before they die, drawing attention. Works like a Silent Takedown from the front.
- Noose strangling: Lower a noose over a ledge into the path of an approaching foe, loop it around their neck and pull them up, strangling them. Similar to Batman's Inverted Takedown.
- Scythe pull: Assume Corner Cover position and hook an approaching enemy around the leg with the blade of your scythe, knocking them down and leaving them prime for a Ground Takedown.
- Hatchet strike: Sneak up behind a foe and whack them in the head with your hatchet for an instant, though noisy kill. Good takedown for those affected by fear gas.
- Blow-darts: Shoot tiny darts with a sampling of fear toxin in them to stun enemies temporarily. Similar to Batarangs.
- Gas trap: Bag of toxin. Releases a cloud of gas automatically when enemies approach, driving them insane with fear. Can cause them to go flailing over railings to their death. Affected goons can be quickly finished without fear of retaliation. Wears off after a brief period. Works similar to Explosive Gel.
- Heat Vision: Works like Detective Mode, using goggles built into mask. Shows heart rate and emotional status of prey.

Since you can use Freeflow Combat in Predator Maps, there would have to be an engine made for Scarecrow, even if there are no combat maps. So here are some ideas for Scarecrows fighting:

- Based on his signature fighting style,Violent Dancing , Scarecrow attacks with odd movements
- O+/\ Takedowns:
-- Quick hatchet to head
-- Slow stangulation with noose
-- Lethal injection
-- Lethal Spray of Gas from wrist
- Quick-tap of R2 uses noose like lasso to pull enemy forward
- Quick tap of L1 uses blow-gun to quick-fire poison dart, stunning enemy
- Instead of Cape Stun sprays a cloud of fear toxin, similar to Joker spraying Laughing Gas.

I don't think there should or would be Scarecrow combat maps, but since it can be used in Predator (though not very effectively) fighting has to be included to some extent.

As for the locations, I think new maps, taking place in Scarecrow's lair, would be best. The enemies would be GCPD officers raiding the place. Each map would be a room in his lair with the sole purpose of experimenting on new test subjects, with progressively stronger men through the maps (ideally four).

I don't know how much, if any, of what I wrote could be used, but since there won't be any more playable characters anyway, I don't think it really matters.

I would really enjoy Scarecrow Predator maps. And they could have Bane or Croc combat maps to make up for Scarecrow not having any.

OP's logic is flawed. A skin switch means nothing. It's just swapping the models. Notice when the skin switches to Joker in one of the Scarecrow scenes, you still walk like Batman. You don't have the marching band animation that Joker has in his own gameplay.

What does logic have to do with loosely worded paragraphs? Perhaps my understanding of how the game works on a technical side is off, but what does that have to do with logic? Thanks for the laugh old ben.

What my paragraph was meant to infer was that simply it seems as though a thought has been given to having scarecrow as a potential DLC player. I believe that is from the hints given by one of our very own moderators. whether I used skin or model, my whole line of thinking on the matter was that perhaps that was a hint even the developers were throwing out at us.
