Question Rating Levels?

Hello,

I was wondering, at the end of every mission you are rated on how well you did. (example - Hatchet Man, etc). Can anyone tell me the order of these ratings?

Somewhere above Hired Gun is Button Man. Somewhere just below Professional is Executioner, and just below that is Ninja.

It's very tough to tell what the rankings of the Ratings are. There is, to my knowledge, no definitive weighted list from IOI. People have speculated about which factors result in which Ratings, but I haven't seen anything definitive. I'd love to know.

By the way, if you open up the game's data files, you'll find literally dozens of rankings. I've got a list of them somewhere around here... I'll edit this post when I find it.

You have to really--I mean really--want to get those ratings to get them. If you put your mind to it you can do it!

Those things rarely happen. Rarely. They've never happened to me, and I haven't the slightest idea how to get them. In fact, if anyone has gotten those ratings, I'd be quite surprised.

Uh huh. I should think getting a "moron, fool, or wimp" would be rather easy for you, Xcom.

Kidding.

well, the only thing that comes to mind if you want to get those ratings is if you really act like a coward. if the guards are looking 4 u, and u hide in some room, shoot out the lights, and crouch there 4 ever could get you the "wimp" rating. or u could apeear right in front of the guards, never shooting them and running around like a psycopath. another way is to drop ur weapons right in fron of the guards.

I think, think, you can get a psychopath rating when you kill everyone with more interesting weapons, ie kitchen knives and spoons, in hand to hand combat. I'm not sure though.

Cool

I always get sociopath when I kill everyone in the level by shooting them. I once or twice got psychopath. I think it was when I used a variety of weapons. (normally I just use dual ballers sd, my faves )

I actually prefer the shotgun or the axe for my bloody rampages.

They're immensely satisfying, in a very disturbing way. Best after long day of trekking back and forth between classes.

Well, I only used shotgun for pigeon hunt in the church yard.
Axe and katana sword can be fun but they are too slow and you need to constantly run after your victims.

That's the point. There's nothing like chasing your helpless victims with your axe held high above your head.

I don't no why it appeals to me. Something profoundly deep and psychological.

You are very sick, you know that?.

This is kinda thing doesn't appeal to me at all. I prefer methodical and calculated execution myself. Running around like madman is beneath me.

I am well aware of that.

This is not "running around like a madman." I try to kill every single person on the map without being detected. In the rare case that a victim gets away, I chase him down and eliminate him. Wink wink.

This IS calculated execution. You have to draw up ingenious plans to kill every single guy on the map. And I don't run either. After killing the same target over and over, usually in the same fashion, you usually look to kill more people, MORE creatively, right?
